The Monkeys


Primates  also be plentiful all over Bangladesh, other than a good number freely in the Hill Tracts and the Sundarbans.
Surrounded by the range of class you will find the Hoolock Gibbon as wells as langurs, and different species' of monkeys.
Hoolock gibbons friend for life and defend their territories with whistling songs that come back through the forests in the early mornings, giving enlarge to their nickname of the "live ape."

Sambar Deer (cervus Unicolor )


Distribution: Deer Lives in North and South America Bangladesh (extinct ) India , Europe and over most of Asia.
Description & Habits: Within deer species Sambar is largest Elongated bodies slender legal necks and short tails. They have long head noses providing a keen sense of smell ad heading also good, males have horn but differ from cattle. Body color mostly shades of grey, brown. Head Body 2Miter shoulder height 1.4M, Weight 270kg.
Feeds and Feeling: Deer mostly feed on grasses and low growing plants but same kinds feed on leaves twinges and fruits of shrubs and trees.
Breeding: 1or 2 young after pregnancy of 24-40 weeks.
Lifespan : Up to 20 years.          

GAYAL (Bos Frontalis)


Distribution: Hill tract of Bangladesh, India, Barma and China.
Gayal is a big animals of Bangladesh .Gayal is same of cow but siege is long.
Grey color , broad skull and broad horn it’s specialty.
 Living for group. Height  1.5-1.6 miter ,weight 500-550kg.

Monkey


Hoolock gibbons mate for life and protect their territory with whistling songs that reverberation through the forests in the early mornings, giving rise to their nickname of the "singing ape."
Primates also be plentiful all over Bangladesh, but most abundantly in the Sundarbans and the Hill Tracts.

The Elephant of Bangladesh

The elephant is habitually establish in the wild in the Hill Tracts and is also a cosseted animal.
Elephant habitat in Bangladesh is restricted almost completely to the forested hills of the east, and even their habitat is giving way to monoculture plantations of teak, rubber, and tea.
Only 200-350 wild elephants are thought to stay alive, with herds moving between Bangladesh and neighboring India.
There may be about 50 domestic elephants.

Deers of Bangladesh

The Sambar Deer is the most widely extend deer species in the world, covering many countries in the Asian continent. It is also one of the larger members of the deer family. Some males are known to weigh up to 300 kgs and can grow up to a height ranging from 135 - 150 cms at the shoulders.

These animals have a life anticipation ranging between 16 - 20 years. They are the favorite prey class of the tiger. A large sambar can feed a feed tiger for up to 4 days. Unlike the Spotted deer, which shouts an alarm and darts away at the sight of a killer, the sambar tends to vigilantly watch and keep giving alarm calls until the danger has passed. A explanation due to which many of them fall prey for  predators. The Sambar can be establish in the wooded hills of the north-east and east.

The Royal Bengal Tiger


The splendid Royal Bengal Tiger is the state living thing Bangladesh. Highly endangered, the Royal Bengal can now be generally be found in the Sundarbans.
One of the biggest of the 'big cats', it has really bold and striking color pattern - making it perhaps the most glorious and sought-after fiery beast of the world!  The colorful pattern of stripes on the glossy skin serves as a very effective camouflage in the grasses and plants almost in all the seasons.
The male averages 3 metres in length including 1 meter of tail and wiighs about 180 kg., though much larger specimens have been known.  The massive one is the Siberian tiger, almost 4 meters long and weighing about 300 kg.
