Description & Habit: A Large shaggy antelope with a long body and short legs. Reddish brown to gray darkening with age, Lags black, Horn long, Strong points curve forward 22-40”, Height 4’to 4’-3” and Weight 162-261kg.Water buck Lives mostly near water.

Feeds & Feeding: Grasses water plants.

Description and Habit: Coal Short, Shiny and Reddish brown under parts peeler. Head body Length 90-100 cm. Shoulder higher 45-55cm. Weight 14-16kg.Antless small consisting of short brow tine un brunched beam, and set on bone hair covered pedicels females had no antlers. Emits distinctive noise like barking of a dog. Usually solitary active mainly during twilight and at night.

Feeds: Feeds on various loves grosses and aside fruits.

Breeding: Females gives birth 1-2 fawns after gestation of 6month.

Life span: Up to 15 Years.

Local status: Endanger.
